Losartan-H is administrated orally with or without food.
Oral Dosage :
Adults : initially, 50/12.5 mg PO once daily. Dosage range is
50/12.5-100/25 mg/day PO administered daily, or as directed by physician.
Contraindications :
Breast-feeding, pregnancy, children and sever hepatic impairment.
Cautions :

In heart-failure patient may cause oliguria and progressive azotemia.

Hepatic diseases, patients with cirrhosis demonstrated significantly increased
plasma concentrations compared to normal patients. Dosage adjustment in this
population is recommended.

Hypovolemia in these patients, lower doses are recommended (see dosage)

In renal artery stenosis patient may cause oliguria and progressive azotemia.

Hydrochlorothiazide and related diuretics may exacerbate diabetes, gout and
systemic lupus erythematosus. Electrolytes should be monitored particularly with
high doses, long-term use, or in renal impairment. Hydrochlorothiazide and
related diuretics should also be used with caution in nephrotic syndrome,
hyperaldosteronism, malnourishment.

Losartan has no specific interaction information.
Losartan belongs to Angiotensin II receptor antagonists
and will have the following interactions :
Potassium salts, lithium, potassium sparing, diuretics, cyclosporine, alcohol,
baclofen, clonidine, heparine, levodopa, methyldopa, minoxidil, anxiolytics and
hypnotics ….. etc.
Hydrochlorothiazide has the following drug interactions :
Alcohol, barbithurates, oral anti-diabetics agent, cholestyramine,
corticosteroids, tubocurarine, amantadine, colestipol, diazoxide, digoxin,
lithium, NSAIDs.
