Each 5 ml syrup contains :

Dexamethasone (as Dexamethasone Sod. Phos.) …. 0.5 mg

Chlorpheniramine maleate ……… …. 2 mg

Afeeldone is indicated in :

* Allergic rhinitis.                   * Bronchial asthma.

* Otitis media.                        * Dermatitis.

* Hypersensitivity reaction to drugs and insect bites.

* Urticaria and angioedema.

- Infants : ¼ teaspoonful (1.25 ml) 3 times or ½ teaspoonful (2.5 ml) twice daily.

- Children: ½ teaspoonful (2.5 ml) 3 times daily.

- Adults : 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 3 times daily.

- Notes :

* In severe case the dose can be increased and adjusted by physician.

* The dose should be gradually decreased during withdrawal of the drug.
