Each film coated tablet contains :
Ofloxacin USP 200 mg, 400mg.

Indications |
Biofloxin in indicated in the treatment of a wide range of infections including
biliary tract infections, bone and joint infections, gastroenteritis (including
diarrhea, Cholera, Compylobacter enteritis & Salmonella enteritis and
Shigellosis) gonorrhea, prophylaxis in immune compromised patient meningococcal
meningitis, otitis media & externa, Q fever, lower respiratory infections,
skin
and
soft tissue infections, typhoid and paratyphoid fever, surgical infections,
urinary
tract infections, acute uncomplicated cystitis in woman, Chlamydia
infections such as nongonococcal uretheritis and in mycobacterial infections as
leprosy. |

Dosage & Administration
|
The adult oral dose range from 200 once daily to 400 mg once or twice daily
depending on the nature and severity of infection. A single dose of 400 mg may
be given for uncomplicated gonorrhea. |
