Clarithromycin   250mg , 500mg

-          Upper respiratory tract infections, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis acute otitis media, lower respiratory tract infections, acut & chronic bronchotitis pneumonae, soft tissue and dermal infections, pyodermi impetigo, ecthyma, erysioelas, lymphogitis, cellulitis, infected dermal lesions.

-         Clarimycin in the presence of acid suppression is also indicated for the eradication of helicobacter pylori in patient with duodenal.

- The adult oral dose range from 250mg to 500mg twice daily depending on the nature & severity of infection.

- Eradication of H. pylori in patient with duodenal ulcer, the user dose of clarimycin is 500mg three times daily for 14 days with an oral anti ulcer drug.

- Children older than 12 years : same as adults.

- Children younger than 12 years : the recommended dose of Clarimycin is 7.5mg/kg every 12hrs for 5-10 days.

There is no clinical safety evidence for use in children younger than 6 months.
